“Rüzgârın Hatıraları” filmi II. Dünya Savaşı yıllarında, çevirmen ve ressam olan Aram’ın siyasal nedenlerle yaşamını kurtarmak için İstanbul’dan kaçışını konu alıyor. Karadeniz’de Sovyet – Gürcistan sınırındaki bir orman köyünde sıkışıp kalan Aram için bu kaçış, çocukluğuna ilişkin kayıp bir zamanın izlerini aramaya dönüşüyor. Ce film raconte l’histoire du peintre et du traducteur Aram qui s’évade d’Istanbul dans le temps de la deuxième Guerre Mondiale, à cause des problèmes de survie liés à la situation politique du pays. Pour Aram, qui s’est coincé dans un village de bois de la mer Noire, à la frontière de l’URSS et de la Géorgie, cette évasion se transforme en une recherche du temps perdu de l’enfance. Dans l’atmosphère politique et culturelle de l’époque, les thèmes de l’amour, le temps, l’exil, le pays, les frontières, la liberté et la confrontation fonctionnent comme des portes qui s’ouvrent aux corridors sombres du mémoire. Accompagné par le vent, se souvenir change tout.

“Memories of the Wind” tells the story of Aram, a translator and painter who escapes from Istanbul for political reasons to save his life during the II. World War. That escape becomes a search for the traces of the lost times of the childhood for Aram who is stuck in a forest village at the Soviet-Georgia border by the Black Sea. Love, time, death, exile, homeland, borders, freedom, and confrontation themes appear in Memories of the Wind as doors opening to the dark hallways of no return of memory in the political and cultural atmosphere of the period.
